Light of Christ Lutheran Church in Marysville, Michigan, is seeking God's direction in providing our next Worship Team Leader.
Responsibilities include choosing music, maintaining CCLI usage database, Worship Team practice, and Sunday morning worship. While we currently have a Worship Team in place, we also hope that our next Leader would be able to increase the number of individuals involved. The Worship Team currently practices on Thursday evenings, but there is some flexibility if necessary. In addition, time would be expected on a weekly basis to meet with the pastor to help coordinate and enhance the worship experience. We are just becoming involved in a ministry in the local jail once every two months which we would expect the Leader to be a part of as well.
Our current Worship Team Leader will be with us through April 2015 and we are working to have someone ready to step in when he leaves. We currently pay our Worship Team Leader $300 per week.
It is imperative that the Worship Team Leader possess both vocal and instrumental skills and have a
Christ-like heart to serve God’s people. Positive people skills are a must.
