Webmaster

Job Description: The Webmaster is responsible for designing, programming, and managing content to maintain a progressive, relevant website for Eagle Brook Church and its ministries.

Status: Full-time Classification: Exempt

Team: Communication Arts

Reports To: Communication Arts Director

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Education: BS/BA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 yrs experience in website design and development
• Proven, effective experience with HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of advanced languages such as PHP
• Knowledge of Adobe Web Development Suite
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ruby on Rails knowledge a plus
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexibility, adaptability and good time management skills required
• High level creative ability
• Positive, helpful team player, customer service skills
• Able to manage, prioritize, and provide status reports for multiple projects and deadlines, while researching better web communication solutions

Overview of Job Duties:
• Design, develop, implement and maintain website and ministry sub-sites
• Work with ministry leaders to build and maintain creative, innovative sub-sites that are fresh, relevant, and up-to-date
• Program and maintain web applications to interface with the church management system, encode/upload video and audio, and interact with other social networking features
• Manage website services to ensure 24/7 availability or troubleshooting
• Proactive in researching new ideas and cutting-edge website technologies and trends, along with web-based solutions for organizational needs
• Provide support and training for website functions for various minis
