Job Title: Minister of Students

Job Type: Full-Time 
Salary Range: $45,000 - $58,000 per year

Position Summary: 

Dillon First Baptist Church seeks a Minister of Students to lead a Christ-centered ministry for grades 1-12. This role includes overseeing student discipleship, outreach, and engagement while equipping volunteers and partnering with families. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead a comprehensive ministry for grades 1-12, fostering spiritual growth and discipleship. 

• Recruit, train, and mentor adult volunteers for both children's and youth ministries. 

• Organize outreach events, mission trips, and fellowship activities. 
• • Engage with local schools and community events to expand the ministry’s reach. 
  • Oversee Christian education for students under the Minister of Education's guidance. 

  Qualifications: 

  • Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a passion for student ministry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or related field (master’s preferred). 
  • 2+ years of experience preferred (not required) in student ministry with leadership and discipleship experience. 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and relational skills.

    • Ability to work effectively with a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and volunteers.
