The Communications Specialist at Journey of Faith serves as both a creative project manager and a volunteer team leader, ensuring our church’s message is communicated clearly, consistently, and effectively across all platforms. This role supports our mission—inviting people to follow Jesus and bringing hope to our community—by coordinating the planning, development, and execution of content that helps people connect with the life of the church.
This person excels in organizing creative work, aligning multiple teams and contributors, and stewarding the Journey of Faith brand across all media. In addition to overseeing communications projects, the Communications Specialist recruits, leads, and equips a team of talented volunteers in photography, video, design, and social media—empowering them to use their skills to help tell meaningful stories. The role serves as a central connector between ministries, creatives, and platforms, ensuring that every message we share is clear, compelling, and mission aligned.
