As the RCS Director/Administrator, your pivotal role is to oversee the daily operations of Ravenna Christian School, ensuring the welfare of enrolled children and staff. Your responsibilities, which are crucial to the smooth running of the school, include personnel management, financial oversight, meal preparation and service, discipline of children, hiring, and all aspects of building maintenance. You will also be the key coordinator for everyday and special functions between the Ravenna Christian School and the Ravenna Assembly of God and will be named on the Child Care Center license.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure strict compliance with all State regulations, maintaining compliance with all CACFP and OCQLS standards.
Make an annual budget.
Oversee the Summer Camp program.
Actively engage with parents during the interviewing of new students, ensuring that the center's rules are clearly understood and followed, and developing healthy parent-school relationships.
Ensure that all staff is trained and equipped for all aspects of care of children, building a healthy team.
Act as a liaison between Ravenna Christian School and Ravenna Assembly of God, fostering healthy communication both with the Ravenna Assembly of God leadership and the RCS board of directors.
Ensure all required documents are in children's files and are up to date.
Conduct a periodic review of all policies and procedures, ensuring that everything is up to date and communicating this information to the parents as needed.
Ensure that proper procedures are followed for the medication administration.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
To have a minimum of an associate degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field approved by the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (DCY). It must be from an accredited college, university, or technical college.
A current designation under the career pathways level two and two-year experience working as a childcare staff member in a licensed childcare program.
