Position Title: Children's Ministry Pastor

Location: Northside Baptist Church, Elkhart, Indiana

Compensation Package: Salary + Housing (includes all utilities)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Pastor to lead and oversee all aspects of our children's ministry, catering to children from birth through 6th grade. The ideal candidate will possess a deep love for children and families, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to teaching Biblical truths in alignment with our doctrinal beliefs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vision Casting and Leadership: Lead and improve an established children's ministry that allows children to experience God in a relevant and relational way.
• Family Engagement: Collaborate with families to support the spiritual development of children, offering resources and organizing family-inclusive events.
• Safety and Security: Maintain existing policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all children participating in church programs.
• Special Events Coordination: Plan and oversee special programs such as Vacation Bible School, summer camps, and outreach events.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other church ministries to ensure a cohesive approach to spiritual growth and community involvement.

Qualifications:

• A born-again Christian with a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
• A calling to children's ministry and a passion for evangelism and discipleship of children and their families.
• Alignment with Northside Baptist Church's doctrinal statement and mission statement.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to build and lead volunteer teams focused on children’s ministries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in children's ministry or a related field is preferred.
