With over 130 years of rich history, our metropolitan church, situated in the heart of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, serves as a beacon of faith and community engagement. We are a part of the Delaware-Maryland Synod and are committed to fostering spiritual growth, social outreach, and inclusive worship experiences.
Position Overview: We are seeking an Associate Pastor who will not only deliver inspiring sermons but also serve as a dynamic teacher for individuals of all ages. Collaborating closely with our Lead Pastor and Congregation Council, the successful candidate will engage in a full-time, comprehensive ordained pastoral ministry. Responsibilities include leading worship services, providing pastoral care to the congregation, and participating in various church activities and ministries.
Primary Responsibilities: The primary focus of the Associate Pastor will be on youth and young adult ministry. This includes developing and overseeing programs that nurture the faith of our younger members and encourage their active involvement in church life. Additionally, the Associate Pastor will lead initiatives to attract and engage younger adults and families, both within our congregation and in the wider community.
