HOPE CHURCH NEXT GEN PASTOR/DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

Hope Church is a 3 year old church plant that is entering a pivotal and exciting time in our churches history.  We are looking to bring a full time Next Gen Pastor/Director on staff.  This individual will be able to focus on serving kids from nursery age through high school students.  The perfect candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit which will be needed to lead and thrive in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Function as a key member of the staff leadership team in implementing Hope’s vision for discipleship and growth for members of our community.

Develop a dynamic family ministry that will disciple and equip parents, working in concert with them as they immerse their children in a life of faith.

Engage the wider community with family events, working to create opportunities for people as they find their way into a faith community.

With support from current staff and leadership, engage families, including children and students, in the Church’s missional efforts locally and internationally. Streamline and strengthen the relationship between Kids Community and Student Ministries.

Oversee the implementation of a dynamic and age-appropriate curriculum for the kids' ministry, ensuring alignment with the church's vision and theological beliefs.

Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all students and children, implementing robust safeguarding policies and procedures.

Collaborate with parents, church staff, and the wider church community to foster volunteer engagement and support for the kids' ministry and student ministry.

Develop and mentor volunteers and staff to maximize ministry opportunities within Hope Church.

Qualifications:

A strong personal faith and commitment to the church's mission and values.

Appropriate schooling and a desire to be a lifelong learner.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, students, parents, and volunteers.

Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously.

A team player with a heart for service and a passion for nurturing the spiritual growth of children and students.

Be able to have fun and laugh easily.

Care for your spouse and children in a Godly way.

Take part in the general life of our church, involving small groups and other events.

Handle your finances in a biblical way and tithe to Hope Church.

Oversee the spiritual health of families within the church.
