Lighting Designer

SUMMARY OF CONTRIBUTION

• This role serves as the point person for lighting technology strategies across all campuses.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate lighting consoles for services at the Broadcast Campus as well as satellite. campuses when necessary.
• Partner with Campus Tech Leads to train, recruit, and develop volunteer lighting teams.
• Be familiar with, and manage staging and rigging systems at Broadcast campus.
• Troubleshoot & maintain lighting equipment.
• Work with the Worship Arts team to design worship backgrounds for both Stage LED wall & Campus screens.
• Assist in strategizing & design of staging elements & sets for all campuses.
• Note: Campus Tech Leads will be responsible for implementation of staging elements & sets.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Strong ability to meet deadlines in a short amount of time.
• Ability to work in both a team & solo environment.
• Ability to program & operate various lighting consoles.
• Ability to train volunteer.

EXPERIENCE DESIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience.
• 4+ years of lighting experience in a church or corporate setting.
• Experience with Vista by Chrome-q or equivalent.
• Experience programming moving lights in a creative production environment.
