Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate keyboard player to contribute to our worship services. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading or playing for contemporary worship, be comfortable working with a variety of musical styles (Gospel & Christian
Contemporary), and be a team player who collaborates effectively with other musicians and the worship leader.
Key Responsibilities:
• Play keyboard during weekly worship services (Sundays and special events).
• Collaborate with the worship leader and band to prepare and lead songs.
• Attend weekly rehearsals and sound checks.
• Assist in arranging or adapting songs for the worship team as needed.
• Maintain a spiritually healthy and professional attitude both on and off stage.
• Contribute to the overall musical and spiritual atmosphere of the worship service.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in keyboard and/or piano with the ability to play by ear.
• At least 5+ years of experience playing in a worship setting (church, ministry environments).
• Knowledge of gospel & contemporary worship music and styles.
• Ability to work well with other musicians and worship leaders.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• A heart for worship and a desire to serve the church community.
• Previous experience leading or playing in a band or worship team is a plus.
• Ability to play with a metronome or click track and follow musical arrangements.
Additional Expectations:
• Consistent attendance at Sunday worship services and weekly rehearsals.
• Be available for special events, such as holidays, revivals, and church celebrations (Or be responsible to find a replacement)
• Willingness to grow spiritually and musically within the context of the church’s mission.
