Purpose:
Assist in leading both Adult and Student Ministries on weekends. This includes involvement with scheduling, preparation, empowering/equipping musicians, and team building throughout the week.
Education, Skills, Abilities, Spiritual Gifts:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Worship Ministry or related ministry field
- Strong vocal and guitar skills
- Demonstrates the gifts of equipping, administration, and worship leading
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop musical abilities in students and adults
- Develop meaningful relationships with adult and student volunteers
- Agrees with/supports the Theology and Mission Statement of Christ Community Church
- Technical background with experience managing sound/stage equipment, Pro Presenter, and Ableton

Essential Functions:Worship
- Recruit and develop musicians to be a part of the age-appropriate worship team
- Recruit, train, develop, and supervise the tech crews as needed
- Assist in ensuring stages, tech equipment, and instruments are kept in proper order
- Be at AWANA and IMPACT Student Ministries as needed to assist students in leading worship
- Assist ministries with Warehouse technology needs as needed
- Come to weekend rehearsals practiced/prepared, also knowing transitions and worship moments
- Positively interact and engage with each weekend team member (including tech and production)
- Be available and willing to take musicians to the next skill level during the week
- Learn all tech/production equipment and processes to be a successful team player in Worship Ministry
Special Events
- Be a part of helping and/or leading worship at Family Ministries special events as needed
Meetings
- Attend monthly staff meeting
- Meet with Worship Director weekly
Administration
- Emails, phone calls, etc. with volunteers
- Be current and timely with expense forms, room reservations, and other paperwork
- Keep timesheet up to date with accurate hours and/or vacation
Relationships:
- Reports to Director of Worship, with a secondary report to Director of Family Ministries
- Works and communicates with all CCC Staff as a cohesive part of the CCC Team
