Next Gen Pastor

Cypress Church is seeking a Next Gen Pastor at our London, OH campus. Our Next Gen ministry is dedicated to providing relevant, age-appropriate learning and connection opportunities for kids from birth through 12th grade. We aim to partner with parents to help kids build a strong, lasting relationship with Christ. As the Next Gen Pastor, you will play a crucial role in fostering an environment of excellence and safety within our Kids and Student ministries. This position will also oversee the recruitment, training, and placement of  Difference Makers, ensuring that they are matched with roles that align with their gifts and passions. 

Requirements

• Must exemplify a high level of passion for sharing the vision of cypress with our community.
• Facilitate ongoing training and coaching for Difference Makers and next steps for families.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain administrative duties
• A clear understanding of Next Gen programming, systems, policies, and opportunities for attendees to take the next steps through the ministries of Cypress Church.
• Effective at conflict management, time management, and coaching skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Maintain composure during stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and inspire Difference Makers to serve in Next Gen ministry.
• Make sure Difference Makers are equipped to serve, and rooms are set up so families can have an excellent experience.
• Connect with Next Gen Difference Makers weekly through phone calls, in-person meetings, and leading group communications.
• Help ensure the overall operations of the weekend are meeting all expectations.
• Oversee Difference Maker onboarding that sets the stage for ongoing care for each individual on the team.
• Maintain positive Next Gen environments that inspire Difference Makers and families to engage in the ministry.
• Balance tasks and relational aspects of the role.
• Work with the Campus Pastor to contribute to campus goals.
• Lead day-to-day operations of the ministry.
• Other duties as assigned.
