Youth Pastor

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Pastor to join our growing church community. The ideal candidate will have a heart for mentoring and inspiring young people in their faith journey, fostering spiritual growth, and building meaningful relationships. This role will involve overseeing the church's youth ministry, designing and implementing programs, and providing spiritual guidance to middle and high school students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead engaging weekly youth programs that align with the church’s mission and values.
• Plan and organize events, retreats, and service opportunities to encourage fellowship, discipleship, and community engagement among youth.
• Collaborate with church leadership and parents to create a supportive environment for youth ministry.
• Recruit, train, and oversee a team of volunteers to assist with youth activities and events.
• Teach and model biblical principles, encouraging a deep and personal relationship with Christ.
• Communicate effectively with parents and the congregation about youth ministry initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Strong communication and relational skills, particularly with youth and families.
• Experience in youth ministry or related fields (volunteer or professional).
• Knowledge of the Bible and the ability to teach it effectively and creatively.
• A team-oriented attitude and the ability to collaborate with church leadership and volunteers.
• Energetic, approachable, and passionate about guiding youth in their faith journey.

Work Schedule: This is a part-time position that will require flexibility, including evenings and weekends for events and programs.

Salary: Based on experience and consistent with the church budget.
