Job Description:

We seek a FULL-TIME Director (depending on experience) to oversee our High School Ministry.  We seek an individual who is a mature follower of Jesus Christ. Someone who will work well with our highly motivated staff. A dynamic person who loves working with students and will help teach, plan and lead events.

Responsibilities: 

Weekly Duties?

            -Draft, review, and send a weekly parent email

            -Email/text first time visitors (Mondays)          

            -Meet with youth team each week

 Retreats/CAMPS

            -Coordinate, execute, & ATTEND Summer Camp [June 22-28 in L.A.]

            -Plan and execute monthly events with the youth team

 Relationship Building

            -Meet with 1-3 students per week (touch base: grab food, sodas, etc.)

            -Continue building Godly relationships with those in the ministry

            -Build a strong volunteer leader team, and equip them for service

Speaking/Teaching

            -Speak at Wednesday night gatherings AND Sunday morning gatherings

            -Grow in Bible teaching abilities

            -Lead a student small group on midweek during school semesters

            -Plan, prepare, and deliver youth curriculum each month

Qualifications:

~ College graduate with a degree in Bible, Theology, or Ministry

~ A strong faith in Christ and passion for working with students

~ Strong communication and organizational skills are needed

~ A confident leader who has experience on a church staff
