Position Title: Groups & Growth Pastor (Full Time)

Position Summary: City Church is seeking a Groups and Assimilation Pastor passionate about seeing people grow together in group life. It is essential that this person is committed to an intentional system of assimilation and discipleship that takes people from a pre- conversion to spiritual maturity.

• Personify a personal character that is above reproach in all areas - spiritual, moral, ethical, relational, and financial.
• Specific calling to pastoral ministry within a local church.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as an integral part of the Pastoral Lead Team.
• Expand the existing small group community by building teams, facilitating meetings, training leaders, forming new groups, and supporting current groups.
• Oversee an effective assimilation process to support and integrate guests into the church community.
• Participate in pastoral functions outside of these areas as decided upon with the pastoral team and determined by personal passions and giftings.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Highly relational with proven ability to relate with a diverse array of cultures, ages, and educational backgrounds
• Proven leadership qualities
• Experience in leading teams in a church body of 500+
• Self-motivated, ability to self-evaluate and positively respond to constructive feedback
• Highly Organized
• Creative Thinker
• Engage in church community by being a part of a life group and serving in the community
• Excellent communication skills; listening, written and verbal
