Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership & Oversight
- Oversee all production aspects of weekend services, midweek gatherings, and special events.
- Manage and train a team of staff and volunteers in audio, video, lighting, and broadcasting.
- Ensure seamless integration of worship, media, and live production elements.
- Lead and develop a culture of excellence, humility, and spiritual growth within the production team.
Technical & Creative Execution
- Manage live-streaming and in-person worship production, ensuring top-tier quality.
- Oversee stage design, lighting, and camera angles to enhance worship and engagement.
- Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including soundboards, cameras, and lighting rigs.
- Collaborate with the worship team to create immersive worship experiences.
Volunteer & Staff Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers and production team members.
- Create training materials for sound engineering, video directing, and lighting operation.
- Schedule volunteers and ensure proper coverage for all services and events.
Equipment & Budget Management
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and purchasing of production equipment.
- Manage the production department budget efficiently.
- Recommend upgrades and improvements for church production technology.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong experience in live production, including audio mixing, video directing, lighting, and streaming.
- Proficiency in production software (e.g., ProPresenter, Logic ProX, Dante, Wirecast, Playback, or similar).
- Leadership and team-building skills, especially with volunteers.
- Knowledge of church worship environments and a passion for creating engaging worship experiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in high-pressure situations.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in production, media, communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 3+ years of experience in live production (church setting preferred).
- Experience leading teams and training volunteers.
Work Schedule & Expectations
- Sunday services, midweek rehearsals, and special events.
- Availability for additional ministry events as needed.
