We are looking to add a full-time Director of Student Ministries and Young Adults. We average around 40-50 students per week at youth group. About 20+ every other week at our Young Adults Group.
Salary range is $45K-$60K (based on experience and education) and includes full-time benefits (health insurance, dental, eye, retirement, paid vacation time). We are looking for a biblically sound, competent, highly relational, emotionally mature Director
to lead our teens and young adults to become gospel-centered disciples.

Qualifications
- A follower of Christ, committed to our student ministry and the overall vision of Community Church
- Experienced in ministering to teenage students and a passion for youth evangelism/discipleship
- Ability to teach in a youth context
- Highly relational with students and adult leaders
- A pastoral heart
- Ability to preach the Word
- Education: minimum undergrad degree related to ministry preferred
Responsibilities
Student Ministry (grades 6-12)
- Build a consistent, relational, gospel-centered ministry with students
- Develop and implement a discipleship strategy for students
- Provide opportunities for middle school and high school to meet separately to grow at their individual levels
- Teach middle and high school students at their level
- Train student leaders for their own personal ministry to peers
- Lead and participate in regular retreats and ministry trips
- Oversee the formation and communication of the student ministry calendar
- Oversee fund-raising activities for trips and big projects
- Lead mission trips, retreats and other trips for students to grow in relationship with God and with one another
Volunteers
- Lead adult volunteers to accomplish the gospel-centered vision of student ministries
- Train and shepherd adult volunteers
- Recruit skilled and teachable adult leaders for student ministry
- Meet with leaders regularly to develop relationships with them
Parents
- Communicate regularly with parents
- Help equip parents in their role as primary spiritual influencers in their children’s lives
Young Adults (ages 18-30)
- Provide opportunities for young adults to grow spiritually through regular events
- Recruit skilled and teachable leaders for the ministry
- Develop small groups for young adults
