Sunday – 4 hrs (Sunday School & Worship Service) Monday – 8 hrs (Office & People Care)

Saturday – *Off
*Two Days Off per week, Days TBD
Office hours to be published in bulletin and may be modified with approval of deacons and senior pastor. *The totals listed above is 36 hours total. That allows 4 hours for ball games, events, YOKE, Young Life, etc. Time off and hours away from church duties and obligations must be approved by the deacons and senior pastor. The church will provide time off for rest, relaxation, and time with family.
Job Description:
Participate and lead students to participate with ongoing church events: worship, Sunday school, Wednesday nights, special events, etc.
Create, plan, conduct and evaluate 6-12 grade discipleship of students
Teach/Preach the Word of God in youth ministry and on Sundays as given opportunities by Senior Pastor Equip and train youth leaders in carrying out youth discipleship strategy
Hold a minimum of 3 evangelistic events a year at BSBC.
Visit, in homes and hospitals, sick students and members of the church as needs arise.
Oversee and manage youth budget and provide monthly financial reports for youth ministry
Create ways to give youth appropriate leadership opportunities in our church. (youth Sunday, door greeters, ushers, teaching opportunities, etc.)
Execute at least 1 youth mission trip a year.
Work regularly with and in the local schools with proper approvals.
Lead the students to serve in the Sunday morning worship service 6 times a year in various ways (special music, offering/prayer, youth Sunday, etc.).
Engage/train parents of students - (use them for special events, have special events for them, recruit as leaders, etc.)
Ensure the safety/security of our youth - (minimum of 2 adults in every SS class, small group, and large group setting, building improvements needed, background checks on volunteers, etc.) - Acquire, Complete, and Maintain file for all trip planning forms, transportation request forms, permission slips, attendee rosters, chaperone list, and room assignments for all trips, events, and activities.
Develop and maintain clear written expectations for all on-going volunteer roles Obtain CDL’s at expense of the church and maintain safe driving record
Oversee the consistent communication of events and activities in online mediums such as the church website and social media.
Work with the Children’s Director to equip and resource parents. Regularly update the parent resource wall. Be the Assistant Director of Bible Release Time and annually support and serve in the KidzDays camp Participate in weekly 1-1 meetings with the pastor to help execute the ministry of the church.
Assist the pastor in regular member visitation at homes, hospitals, funerals, etc.
Work with the pastor to develop a routine pastoral visitation plan and provide visitation reports to the deacon body weekly/monthly.
Provide an overall youth ministry report at monthly deacons meetings/business meetings. Maintain honest and transparent communication with pastor, staff, and deacon’s.
Follow policies, procedures, and ideals of the church constitution, building use policy, van use policy, and other policies of the church.
Adhere to the doctrines of the 2000 SBC Baptist Faith and Message. Promote unity of individuals, groups, and generations in the church.
