Christian Preschool Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and implementing educational programs that promote the development of young learners. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

• Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
• Manage daily operations of the preschool, including staff supervision, scheduling, and compliance with licensing regulations.
• Educate staff on best practices in early childhood education and provide ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Oversee budgeting and financial management to ensure the effective allocation of resources.
• Foster positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the community to promote engagement and support for the preschool.
• Lead strategic planning initiatives to enhance program quality and expand enrollment opportunities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proven experience in leadership roles within an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with experience in budgeting and resource management.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff, parents, and the community.
• Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while enhancing educational outcomes for children.
