Family Church's mission is to love our neighbors and welcome them into God's family. Family Church is seeking a Worship Leader who can lead our congregation musically and can recruit/train/lead a worship team. The Worship Leader serves as team member of the Paid Ministerial Staff under the functional supervision of the Lead Pastor.
Estimated hours will be 6-8 hours per week. Estimated pay is between $20-30 per hour based on experience.

At Family Church, we are all about relationships. We have met many people who are moving to our community from literally all over the world. We know, because we too moved to Van Alstyne a little over a year ago. God began stirring in our hearts to start a church in an area where a family community was needed. When we visited Van Alstyne, we immediately knew this was home. We moved and began getting to know our neighbors.
Many of us that have moved to Van Alstyne do not have family in the area, so we are looking for relationships with other families that will grow over the years and form lasting friendships.
God gave us a vision to start a church with this type of family atmosphere- hence the name- Family Church.
At Family Church, we desire for a community that does life together. A community where you can be your real self and know that others care for you. We desire for a community that passionately prays for our families, neighbors, schools, and our city. We want to serve our Van Alsytne community with our gifts, our time, and our money. We desire to start a church that isn’t just a Sunday morning gathering, but that forms a bond so great that we become a family, meeting each other’s spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.
