Worship Director/Pastor

ABOUT:

The Worship Pastor will oversee all aspects of the worship department. This person will be responsible for pastoral duties along with the development and strategy of the team. They will also be responsible for guarding the culture of the house and the culture of the worship team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Continue to cultivate the heart and atmosphere of a presence driven church
• Serve as the worship leader for all main and youth services and special events
• Lead and manage the Without Walls Worship team and develop a youth team
• Oversee the coordination of Worship team nights
• Oversee the structures and systems of Without Walls Worship
• Partner with the production director and team to maintain a “one team” mentality
• Plan and implement Without Walls Worship projects and department goals
• Manage and be accountable for finances, expense reporting, etc
• Fulfill the requirements and faithfully perform the duties of “Pastor” for the team and church

• Proficient vocally and musically
• HOLY SPIRIT LED and knows how to cultivate and operate in those environments

• Have basic knowledge of ProPresenter, ableton and mainstage
• Always thinking of innovative ways to raise the bar and take the worship department to the next level
• Can properly and effectively manage the worship team social media
• Knows how to teach and lead practices and run-thrus for both band and vocals
• Must be able to work with and lead all types of personalities
• NO EGO!
• Can grow and mentor new worship leaders and inspire growth

QUALIFICATIONS:

The right candidate should have at least 3 years experience in a worship team or ministry. A degree, certificate, or a worship internship is a plus but NOT REQUIRED. The right fit for this position is expected to be a Spirit filled, Spirit led believer and an active member in the life and community of Without Walls Church, adhering to the standards, beliefs and vision of our church.
