Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries

We are seeking a experienced and spiritually mature Associate Pastor of Adult Minsitry to join our leadership team. This role will focus on discipleship, small groups and spiritual growth opportunities for adults within our thiriving, non-denominational church in California. The ideal candidate will have a heart for ministry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage and equip adults in their faith journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee small groups, bible studies, and discipleship programs
• Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual guidance to adult members
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer leaders for adult ministries
• Collaborate with church leadership to align adult ministry with the church's vision and mission
• Plan and lead workshops and special events to foster spiritual growth
• Preach and /or teach as needed
• Engage in efforts to connect new members and intergate them into the church community

Qualifications:

• A deep, personal relationshiop with Jesus Christ and a commitment to biblical teaching
• Masters degree in Theology, Ministry, or a related field perferred
• 5+ years of pastoral or ministry leadership experience
• Strong communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to connect with a diverse congregation and foster a welcoming community
