We are seeking a Student Ministries Director/Pastor whose passion is to reach students for Jesus and enable them to grow in their faith. The Student Ministries Director/Pastor will develop teams of volunteers to multiply the Director/Pastor’s efforts in
implementing the goals set before the ministry to develop students’ faith and further the ministry's reach.
Strategic Youth Development
- Consistently evaluate and realize ways to reach and connect unchurched and de-churched students
- Plan, develop, and implement opportunities for students to serve at Redemption and throughout the community
- Advocate for the students to be, and be considered, part of the church
- Recruit, develop, and empower adult and student leader teams to serve in all aspects of youth ministry
- Ensure that Youth Ministry small groups are consistently focusing on developing a vibrant faith in students
- Attend weekly staff meetings
Weekly Events
- Oversee the planning and execution of youth meetings mid-week and Sunday mornings, including teaching, music, small group discussion, and games. Some of these duties can be delegated in the model of Ephesians 4:12
- Performs most of the teaching duties for mid-week as well as Sunday mornings
Pastoral Care
- Provide coaching for students and parents as needed
- Volunteer for community needs with a focus on students
Special Events
- Develop, oversee, and market special events such as camps, retreats, and outreach events
Qualifications, experience, and skills required
- Must love Jesus and students
- Must demonstrate the fruits of the Spirit in their life
- Must have 3 years of experience in building, leading, and motivating student ministry teams
- Must have a degree in ministry or related field or experience equivalent
- Must have a good understanding of various social media platforms

Who is Redemption Church
Redemption Church is a 13-year-old nondenominational church. We are elder-led, with a staff of four full-time and two part-time people. Our weekly attendance is 340 people between two Sunday services. We are in Duvall, Washington, a beautiful town 30 minutes
east of Seattle in the Cascade foothills. Duvall is comprised mainly of people who work in the tech industry.
