KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vision and Leadership

  • Develop and cast a compelling vision for the youth ministry that aligns with the overall mission of the church.

  • Lead a culture that embraces Holy Spirit-filled worship, life-changing discipleship, and outreach-focused fun.

  • Champion student engagement in both church and community initiatives.

Programming and Events

  • Plan and execute weekly youth services that are Spirit-led, engaging, and fun, blending relevant teaching, worship, and interactive elements.

  • Oversee small groups, equipping leaders to foster meaningful relationships and spiritual growth among students.

  • Design and lead an in-depth internship program that challenges students spiritually, mentally, and practically.

  • Organize dynamic events, including retreats, mission trips, school outreach initiatives, and fun gatherings.

Community and School Outreach

  • Build relationships with local schools and organizations to establish a strong presence in the community.

  • Develop creative strategies to engage students where they are, including on-campus ministries and community service.

  • Serve as a resource and support for students and their families.

Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and empower a passionate team of volunteers, small group leaders, and student interns.

  • Foster a culture of fun, creativity, and excellence within the youth ministry team.

  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to both leaders and students.

Administrative Excellence

  • Manage the youth ministry budget effectively, ensuring alignment with church goals and priorities.

  • Utilize digital tools and platforms to communicate with students, parents, and leaders.

  • Measure and analyze ministry effectiveness through feedback, attendance, and spiritual growth metrics.

  • Proven leadership experience in youth ministry or a similar role.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to connect with students, parents, and volunteers.

  • Passion for mentoring and disciplining young people.

  • Experience in community engagement and outreach.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with excellence and efficiency.
