ABOUT OUR CHURCH
High Rock Church of Lexington, founded in 2009, is situated in Lexington, North Carolina, a growing city attracting new businesses. We are a diverse church family of individuals from various church backgrounds, including many with no prior church experience. Our community encompasses a wide range of age groups and economic backgrounds. We want to emphasize young adults and families with young children. Currently, our Sunday attendance is approximately 225 people.
We strive to be a community that helps people live their lives after God. We consider ourselves flexible, creative, and innovative while remaining firmly rooted in biblical principles. Our mission is to encourage people to engage with others, grow in their spiritual journey as disciples of Jesus, and develop a regular commitment and habit of service in the High Rock Church community.
HRCL adheres to the doctrinal statement adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000 (The Baptist Faith and Message 2000). However, High Rock Church is independently governed by the Southern Baptist Convention and considers the Bible as the sole and ultimate source of all we hold to be true.
