JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE/POSITION: Director of Children’s Ministry, Charlotte Grace One Christ Church
REPORTS TO: Grace One English Ministry Pastor
Summary of Basic Function
We are seeking a passionate and experienced ministry leader to oversee all activities of Children’s Ministry at Grace One Church. The director will plan, coordinate, and execute all ministerial tasks of Children Sunday worship, Children Sunday school, and Friday Night program. You’ll be the primary teacher for the Children’s program and responsible for providing training and support for volunteers.
General Qualifications
1.Must be a baptized believer and follower of Christ and agree with the statement of faith of Grace OneChurch. Must have a heart of evangelism and disciple-making.
2.Have experience working with children in a church or ministry context and demonstrate a genuinecalling to serve, teach, and invest in children from birth to 5th grade.
3.Have experience in organizing, motivating, and training leaders and volunteers.
4.Be able to relate to people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and preferably haveexperience working with Chinese and American-born Chinese (ABC) parents.
6.A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, and formal theological training is preferred.

Summary of Essential Functions
1.Deliver messages at Children Sunday worship and Friday large group gathering.
2.Establish, communicate, and implement core ministry policies.
3.Be in charge of training Children ministry volunteers .
4.Partner closely with parents through conversations, workshops, and resources.
5.Manage the development, distribution, and allocation of Grace One Church’s teaching curriculums
and supplies.
6.Coordinate and integrate ministry programs and events with the broader church calendar.
7.Prepare annual ministry budgets and exercise good stewardship of ministry resources.
