Stuttgart Campus Pastor

As our community continues to grow, we remain one church with seven locations across the globe, including five in Virginia; one in Stuttgart, Germany; and one in the Middle East.
+Position Description
The Stuttgart, Germany Campus Pastor is responsible for leadership and pastoral care at the Stuttgart Campus of Trinity Church. The Stuttgart Campus Pastor also works with the church staff and Trinity Elders to carry out the mission and ministry of Trinity Church as a whole, as well as stewarding that ministry in a given community.
+Specific Responsibilities
Campus Leadership:
- Lead efforts to establish relevant, powerful outreach ministry in the Stuttgart area.
- Work with the Stuttgart Leadership Team and Shepherding Elders to provide vision and leadership at the Stuttgart Campus.
- Provide administrative oversight for the Stuttgart campus and coordinate/collaborate with Central Office staff.
- Equip team members to serve in their area of giftedness, leveraging existing ministries as well as starting new ones as necessary.
- Recruit and train ministry team leaders to lead all aspects of ministry at the Stuttgart Campus. Encourage servant ministry and look for emerging leaders in all ministry areas.
- Key ministry teams include:
- Worship Team
- Set up/Tear Down Team
- Trinity KidsTeam
- Trinity Students Team
- Hospitality/Connection Team
- Discipleship Team (Men’s, Women’s, Prayer ministries)
- Community Group Team (This includes recruiting and training coaches and leaders and supervising the administration of the ministry).
- Outreach Team
- Meet weekly with campus staff to provide communication, encouragement and counsel. Train staff to be Eph. 4:11-16 equippers of servant leaders in their areas.
- Lead weekly worship services (as MC when not preaching). This includes overseeing everything that takes place at the Stuttgart Campus on a given Sunday.
Pastoral Care:
- Minister to the spiritual needs of the Stuttgart Campus congregation.
- Be available for pastoral counseling, pre-marital counseling, weddings and funerals.
- Lead discipleship and spiritual transformation efforts at the Stuttgart campus. This may include curriculum development for Community Groups, discipling individual leaders or groups of leaders, or “Sunday School” type opportunities for the campus.
Church Leadership: .
- Collaborate with other Campus Pastors to provide consistent messaging and operations.
- Affirm and Support Trinity’s doctrinal positions.
- Meet regularly with Stuttgart Shepherding Elders regularly to discuss campus ministries and overall health.
+Teaching/Preaching:
- Preach one Sunday per month at the Stuttgart campus.
- Lead/host worship service the other Sundays each month.
- Meet regularly with pastors to help plan series and services.
- Oversee other teaching ministries at Stuttgart campus.
+Qualifications/Skills/Gifts
- Ability to lead, encourage and shepherd
- Pastoral Ministry degree or experience.
- Mature Christian walk.
- Gifted in pastoring and teaching as well as administration.
- People skills and the ability to develop community life.

- Support the leadership and decisions of the Governing Elder Board, including decisions made for the Stuttgart campus.
