About Chelsea Community Church

Pursuing God. Pursuing others.

We believe God has called us to be a church that pursues Him and others inside and outside the church: loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind and loving our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39). To do this, we must know our purpose, live intentionally, and live in community.

The Scriptures teach us that our purpose is to know God, be transformed, and tell others the good news of Jesus Christ.

To live intentionally, we take practical steps to spend time with God through spiritual disciplines, to be connected to the church in dynamic relationships with others, and to proclaim the gospel as we tell others about what Christ has done for them.

As we understand our purpose and live intentionally, we do so in community. God has given us one another, the church, to encourage and spur one another on to good works - to love one another. At Chelsea Community Church, we seek to love one another in the friendship and fellowship of Christian community and our neighbors as ourselves.

We are an intentional church plant from Double Oak Community Church, Mt. Laurel, Alabama.
