Purpose of the Position:
• We’re seeking a creative and passionate Videographer/Content Creator to join our team. The
ideal candidate will develop engaging and original content for CrossPoint Community Church
across multiple platforms (website, FB, IG, YouTube, etc.)
• You will be responsible for capturing video and photos of how God is working around
CrossPoint as well as crafting compelling visual and multimedia content that resonates with
our community, drives engagement, and aligns with our church’s mission and message.
• This role requires strong creative skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to adapt
content strategies to different platforms and audiences.
• You’ll serve as an integral member of the Communications Group for ministry
communication and promotion.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, plan, film, and edit content for worship services, social media and website that align
with the church’s vision and values.
• Develop ideas and production schedule in coordination with Comm Director
• Collaborate with the Comm Director and other ministry teams to create visual content that
communicates the heart of the church’s mission.
• Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent posting of relevant
content.
• Monitor trends in social media, design, and video, suggesting ways to adapt our content
strategies to better serve our community.
• Update content on various platforms weekly or as needed: church website, Vimeo, Spotify,
Church Online, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Linktree
• Help develop and oversee Video budget; process receipts as needed
• Serve as rotating online host on YouTube, Facebook, and Church Online on Sunday mornings
• Help maintain department archives as needed
• Serve on creative team for development of future promotion and communication ideas
• Continuously pursue methods to improve creativity, communications output, and systems
• Special projects as assigned

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent
work experience).
• Strong knowledge in camera and lighting equipment
• Strong knowledge in preproduction, set up, and editing
• Ability to lead and execute a video project
• Creativity and adaptability in content production, with a portfolio or examples of past work.
• In-touch with current social media trends and platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once, with special attention to detail.
• Willingness and desire to learn new skills and try new things.
• Work independently as well as cooperatively with your team
• Must also be able to lift up to 30 pounds and maneuver it (i.e. twist, push, pull, etc.) and be
able to move heavy loads of video, audio, lighting gear by hand/cart and other similar actions
periodically. Must be able to climb stairs as our studio is located on second floor.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication as well as collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, ProPresenter) and video
editing tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere).
• Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
• Maintain open and frequent and proactive communication with your supervisor, staff, and
team.
• Adherence to the CrossPoint Community Church Staff Core Values.


Preferred:
• Knowledge of InDesign and Illustrator
