Youth Pastor

Reports to: Lead Pastor

Overview:
Mosaic is seeking a passionate, experienced, and Christ-centered Youth Pastor to lead our Middle School, High School, and Young Adult ministries. This is not just a job—it’s a calling. We are broken individuals finding restoration in Christ and helping others do the same.

As the Youth Pastor, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and engaging environments where students can grow spiritually, connect relationally, and experience a Jesus-centered life. Collaboration with the 5th-grade team will help ensure a smooth transition for students into Middle School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Equip Leaders: Recruit, train, and develop leaders to effectively serve students in Middle School, High School, and Young Adult ministries.
• Inspire Growth: Plan programs, events, and teachings that foster spiritual growth, build relationships, and cultivate a love for Jesus.
• Support Transitions: Facilitate quarterly crossover meetings to help 5th graders transition smoothly into Middle School.
• Teach and Preach: Teach regularly in Youth Ministry settings and occasionally preach in church services as requested by the Lead Pastor.
• Evaluate Impact: Ensure ministry effectiveness by setting measurable goals and tracking spiritual and relational growth outcomes.

• Character: A person of integrity who embodies Christlike humility, joy, and leadership.
• Competency: A qualified candidate with previous experience leading youth and young adult ministries, excellent communication skills, and a passion for discipling the next generation.
• Chemistry: Someone with high emotional intelligence, a willingness to have hard conversations, and the ability to thrive in team environments while fostering unity and building meaningful connections with students, parents, and volunteers.

Qualifications:
A growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Mosaic’s mission and values. Proven experience leading Middle School, High School, or Young Adult ministries. Strong teaching and relational skills, with the ability to inspire and connect with students, volunteers, and parents. A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
