Planted in 1997, in Vancouver, WA, we’re a contemporary, evangelical church whose mission is to see people transformed by Jesus as we proclaim the gospel with our words and our lives. We’re just ordinary people who have fallen in love with Jesus and want our friends and neighbors to know Him too. We’re in a season of growth so we need an experienced Associate Pastor who loves and lives with Jesus, and is called to join us in fulfilling our mission.

JOB SUMMARY This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about people and has the leadership and organizational skills to mobilize others to build the church. You’ll mobilize and lead teams to care for our church members and new people, and lead our local and international outreach. You’ll also have the opportunity to teach our church family on a regular basis and be part of our Leadership Team.

THE PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE ROLE IS TO LEAD/OVERSEE THESE AREAS OF MINISTRY:

    1. Pastoral Care — Pastoral Care Team / Life Groups / Stephen’s Ministry / Seasoned Citizen’s / Women’s and Men’s Ministry / Take Them a Meal / Baptisms / Prayer 
    2. Integration — Newcomers Lunches / Weekend Welcoming Team / Connections
    3. Community Outreach — Local school relationships / Community Service Day / Sunday Fun Day
    4. International Mission — CMA partners / Bright Hope World partnerships / Short Term mission trips

The Associate Pastor will be a member of the Leadership Team (see Organizational Chart below), teach in our Weekend Gatherings, and other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor
