Youth Pastor/ Worship Pastor

Victory Church is seeking a full-time Worship/Youth Pastor or part-time Youth Pastor and part-time Worship Pastor. We are a non-denominational indepentent Pentecostal church of 200+ people. Come and join our staff and church! We are looking for a person(s) with vision and leadership skills to inhance our worship and grow our youth in Christ. 

Duties for Youth Pastor:

1) Lead entire youth program weekly in teachings, worship, and events.

a) Preach/teach during weekly youth services which are 10am Sunday School and 7pm Wednesday night, youth worship practice on Wednesday nights is at 6pm and Youth hangout is from 6:30pm-7pm. Music skills are preferable but leadership skills that will help the youth develop will also be acceptable. 

b) Develop a strong biblical foundation in the youth and help them develop their skills to become active participants in the church body.

c) Plan and lead various youth activities with youth and parents involved in helping in the varity of events. We ask that two events per month are held. 

2) Assist the Lead Pastor in overall growth and care of the church focused on the youth.

a) Ideal candidate will be able to work within a team concept with staff, parents, youth, and the church body.

3) Able to work with modern technology.

4) Other duties as needed.

Duties for Worship Pastor:

1) Able to lead praise and worship during church service, 11am Sunday and 7pm Wednesday. Able to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit during services.

2) Able to teach music and train musicians/singers. 

3) Able to work with soundmen and computer technology.

4) Able to work within team concept with staff, volunteers, and the church body.

5) Plan out songs for worship services and for special services such as Christmas and Easter.

a) Our worship style ranges from contemporary to hymns. We believe that the music should be able to reach all ages and reflect our congregation. Our music style should be able to lead all of our attenders in praise to the Lord.

6) Assist the Lead Pastor in overall growth and care of the church focused on the youth.
