Youth Operations Coordinator

Encounter Church is seeking a passionate and driven Youth Operations Coordinator to join our team. The primary goal of this position is to support the Youth Ministry by coordinating events, managing schedules, communicating with parents, and ensuring smooth operations for all youth activities. Key Responsibilities:

    •    Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and execute youth events, including weekly gatherings, retreats, and special events.

    •    Scheduling: Oversee and manage the calendar for youth programs, ensuring smooth scheduling of all activities and volunteers.

    •    Parent Communication: Act as the primary liaison between parents and the youth ministry, keeping families informed and engaged.

    •    Registration Management: Handle large-scale registrations for events, ensuring accurate records and a smooth registration process.

    •    Administrative Tasks: Create and maintain spreadsheets, databases, and reports related to youth activities.

    •    Leadership: Provide leadership to volunteers, staff, and youth, including people older than you, demonstrating strong character and initiative.

    •    Problem Solving: Think critically and resolve issues quickly to maintain a positive environment during youth events and operations.

Requirements:

    •    A passion for working with youth and a heart for ministry.

    •    Strong organizational and administrative skills with experience in managing schedules, events, and spreadsheets.

    •    Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

    •    Ability to demonstrate leadership in a variety of situations, including with peers and those older.

    •    Critical thinker and proactive problem solver.

    •    Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work well under pressure.

    •    Experience with event coordination and/or youth ministry is preferred.
