We believe worship is more than the music before a sermon. Worship happens beyond the walls of the church every day. The responsibility of a Worship Pastor is to lead others to live their lives like the lyrics of a song, continually praising God for His love and goodness.  At SouthCrest, the Worship Pastor plans, organizes, and leads worship experiences while building and developing a worship team of volunteers. They will also be responsible for all video and media elements of our worship services and support ministries.

Who You Are:

• Vocally talented and have strong musical experience with keys, guitar, or other instruments
• Organized and efficient especially with time management
• An excellent communicator who is able to think abstractly but communicate concretely
• A multi-tasking team player with high energy, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere)
• A hard worker who isn’t rattled by a fast-paced, flexible environment

 What You'll Do:

• Plan, organize, and spiritually lead multiple worship experiences throughout the week.
• Recruit, train, and build a worship team
• Works closely with Pastor on implementation of creative pieces
• Oversee web-based communications to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency
• Coordinate efforts to drive traffic to our site and how to use it most effectively
