We’re looking for an inspiring Student Ministry Lead to shape and lead our Middle School and High School ministry at Sunrise Church, a vibrant community in the heart of Rialto, California.. Here, you’ll have the chance to make a lasting impact on students’ lives as they navigate the most formative years of their spiritual journeys. What We’re Looking For:

Our ideal candidate is an experienced ministry leader who understands the needs of today’s students and thrives in multi-ethnic, multi-site, large church environment. You should have a track record of connecting with diverse communities, building strong, authentic relationships, and leading with a servant’s heart. We’re seeking someone who has:

• Ministry Experience
  At least 1+ years of student ministry experience, ideally within a large church setting, and a strong background in teaching, discipleship, and pastoral care. Experience with the Orange Philosophy is a huge plus!
• Leadership Development Expertise
  Proven success in recruiting, training, and mentoring volunteer teams, with an eye for nurturing the next generation of leaders.
• Vision and Adaptability
  A dynamic, creative approach to ministry that resonates with students from all walks of life and adapts to a fast-paced church environment.
• Passion for Partnering with Families
  The heart for fostering meaningful partnerships with parents and guardians, supporting them in their role as the primary spiritual influence in their teens’ lives.

What You’ll Do:

As our Student Ministry Lead, you’ll:

• Lead weekly gatherings and groups that inspire, equip, and engage middle and high school students.
• Oversee special events, retreats, and mission opportunities that create unforgettable faith experiences.
• Engage with families to encourage and support their teens’ spiritual growth at home.
• Recruit and Train an effective and committed team of adult volunteers to relationally invest into the lives of students to help them take next steps in their journey of faith.
• Collaborate with church leadership to implement an effective small group strategy that aligns with overall church vision.
