What A Win Looks Like:
Hillside Community Church is a regional church nestled into the foothill communities of the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California. Under the leadership of Senior Pastor Aaron McRae, the ministry has an expansive reach into the local area reaching thousands of people through the ministry each week.
Founded in 1979 by a group of pioneers who were attending First Baptist Church of Pomona (now Purpose Church), but living in Rancho Cucamonga, they had a Kingdom heartbeat for the local communities. Through the nearly 40 years of Hillside's ministry, the profound Gospel impact has reached far beyond the imagination of the original founding members. In 2012, Pastor Aaron McRae was installed as the second Senior Pastor in the history of the church and has been faithfully leading an exciting new chapter in the life of Hillside's ministry vision "to see God's hope transform our cities one story at a time."
The team at Hillside senses a unique vision and call from God to continue to have a Gospel impact in both a localized regional reach here in Southern California, as well as around the world through our online ministry efforts.
Since the pandemic started in March of 2020, Hillside has seen a digital reach in over 45 states, 51 countries and over 215,000 unique viewers through our online content and growing every week. We believe this is our moment to reach the world with the Gospel in unique and creative ways both in-person and online.
