Lead Pastor | Woodland Church (multicampus) | SW Michigan

Woodland Church is seeking our next Lead Pastor to lead our multicampus church as we gather, grow and go to see Jesus transform lives. God is so faithful to be moving in Woodland even in this interim season!  We are blessed to see growth in guests, salvations, baptisms, members, volunteers, and in families tithing. 

Personal qualifications:

• Committed and mature follower of Jesus Christ with a consistent and growing life of prayer and time in God’s Word.
• Demonstrated commitment to evangelism, community outreach, and discipleship
• Approachable leader who builds effective relationships with healthy authenticity.
• Demonstrates high integrity, establishes healthy boundaries, and submits to accountability.
• Willing to partner with the Great Lakes Region and the Wesleyan Church at large.
• Has a Kingdom mindset and a dependence on Holy Spirit

Professional qualifications:

• Ordained in acceptable denomination or on ordination track with the Wesleyan Church
• 3-5 years experience and demonstrated leadership in a local church with multi-person staff.
• Able to clearly and passionately communicate biblical truth through sermons that connect to believers and seekers in venue sizes from dozens to hundreds.
• Competently handles challenges and conflict with grace, speaking the truth in love, and pursuing healing of relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to collaboratively develop, cast, and implement vision
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, equipping and leading teams of leaders.
• Courageously opportunistic in trying new things and taking obedient risks
• Committed to intergenerational ministry and cohesive relationships in all campus locations

Compensation: 

Very competitive compensation includes health care plan, 403(b), life insurance, disability insurance, professional expense account and other benefits. Details will be discussed with a final candidate.
