Chapman Community Chapel (CCC) is seeking a Senior Pastor to preach and teach God's Word, share the Gospel, care for and lead our Congregation.

Perspective pastor candidates must meet the qualifications set forth in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Blessed with the ability to teach, preach and evangelize.

2. Significant Biblical and theological knowledge.

3. Adhere to preach and defend the core beliefs of CCC as detailed in our constitution as well as our statement of faith and mission statement.

4. A vision for evangelism, missions, spiritual and physical growth.

Expected Responsibilities of a Senior Pastor

1. Provide spiritual, pastoral, outreach and servant leadership to the congregation.

2. Prepare weekly sermons (Sunday morning worship), Bible studies (Wednesday evenings), Sunday School lessons (Sunday morning once or twice a month)

3. Visit and comfort the sick, shut-in and bereaved.

4. Provide counseling to congregational members.

5. Officiate at special services. (baptisms, weddings, funerals, infant dedications, etc..)

6. Collaborating with church leadership and teachers to guide church activities and programs.

7. Attending church leadership meetings and providing a pastor's report (currently held once a month)

8. Working closely with and being held accountable to the church leadership board and the congregation.

We consider ourselves to a be more conservative Independent Bible Church. Most of the congregation grew up with the King James Version of the Bible. Our focus isn't on what version a follower, teacher or preacher uses, as long as the version of scripture is reliable and not compromised.

We enjoy worshipping with a variety of hymns and conservative modern contemporary selections.

Chapman Community Chapel (CCC) is an Independent Bible Church in Snyder County about 40 miles north of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

We, as a body of believers at (CCC) exist to glorify God by:

A. Declaring the Word of God through biblical preaching and teaching.

B. Delivering the message of salvation by grace through faith.

C. Discipling Christians, nurturing and building up the body of Christ, creating in them God centered lives, encouraging Spiritual growth and holy living, through the 

scriptures, mentorship, accountability and prayer.

 

We have services on Sundays at 9:15 A.M. (Sunday school) and 10:30 A.M. (worship)   Wednesday evening 6:30 P.M. (prayer meeting and Bible study)
