The ideal candidate for this role embodies the heart of a worshipper—someone who clearly loves God and people and is called to lead others in worship with authenticity and excellence. We are seeking a leader who is not only musically gifted but also rooted in a strong theological foundation for worship. Your ability to sing or play an instrument, such as guitar or piano, and your knowledge of music theory will be essential in this role.

This position requires a gifted individual who possesses both creativity and organizational talent. As the Worship Coordinator at our Central Location, you will lead with vision, inspiring and equipping your team to reach new heights in their musical and spiritual journey.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Spirit-Led follower of Christ who has the gifting to lead teams and congregations in worship
• Team-Centric leader with a desire to work collaboratively with leadership and foster a culture of unity
• Highly Skilled in musical and vocal ability with a heart to teach and grow other worshippers
• Singer/Songwriter with firm foundation in biblical theology to ensure sound lyrical content

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ experience directing worship teams
• 3-5 years’ formal ministry and/or music training
• Passionate about recruiting, training, and developing worship team members, with concern for not only their technical skill but spiritual development
• Self-directed with an ability to prioritize and manage project deadlines
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Able to maintain a vibrant spiritual life, committed to Jesus
• Committed to the mission, vision, and values embodiment of the membership standards of Christian Faith Center

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Model and invite people into an encounter with God through spirit-led worship
• Recruit, train, and schedule musicians to lead worship with an ever-improving mindset
• Collaborate with the Executive Creative Pastor to implement CFC worship culture at the CFC Location and partner in multi-location events
• Encourage spiritual development amongst the worship team and help them become a part of our church
• Support the leadership of your Location Pastor and location ministry team
• Operate within worship budget and complete all financial procedures as required the by central office
• Maintain a vibrant spiritual life, overflowing into staff interactions and those they lead and committed to the membership standards of Christian Faith Center
• Take part of continued education and training quarterly provided by the Executive Creative Pastor
• Attend monthly Worship Coordinator Meeting with the Executive Creative Pastor
• Lead weekly rehearsals in preparations for weekend services
• Meet with your locations worship team monthly in a group setting
• Attend weekly Location staff meeting in person or on slack huddle.
• Prioritize your relationship with the Lord above everything
