Job Summary
Provide leadership and direction to all ministries pertaining to our Kid’s Ministries-(1st through 5th Grade), helping to create an environment where kids are being led to Jesus, loved into community, and launched into ministry. This is a pastoring role that will provide CARE for our kids & their families, and coaching our volunteers on how to LEAD, LOVE, & LAUNCH.
This person must love Jesus, love kids, and must be a “people-person” who is creative and fun. This person must have a “servant’s heart” and be a team-player. This person must also have experience in working with a team of volunteers. Regarding education and experience, this person must at least; (1) be pursuing a bachelor’s degree, or (2) have already completed a bachelor’s degree, and (3) have 2 years of working with kids or students in some capacity. This person must also have some administrative gifts and have a willingness to learn and/or have a basic understanding of how to use programs like—(Planning Center, Pro Presenter, Adobe and E.O.S.)—and be committed to consistently attend our Kid’s Ministry events/programs.

This phrase “Lead the One Home” has captured our hearts. We truly believe the “problem” we’re seeing in our culture is that people are disconnected from God and from others, and the result of this disconnection is people feeling lost and alone. We also believe the “solution” to this problem is found in Jesus’ Parable of the Lost Sheep, and how that parable describes a shepherd who is willing to leave the comfort found in the Ninety-Nine in order to lead the ONE home. Jesus has done this for us, and He is calling us to do the same for the ONE’s in our lives today. Each of us knows a ONE who is feeling disconnected, and as followers of Jesus, it’s our responsibility to “Lead the One Home”.
