Position Title: General Maintenance Technician

Directly Reports To: Pastor of Operations

Time Commitment: 40 hours per week

Pay Range: $22-30 per hour, DOE

Employment Type/Classification: Full-time, hourly

Purpose of the Position:

To provide a clean, functioning, and orderly facility for the purposes of ministry on our church campus according to the standards set by the Pastor of Operations and Leadership Team.  

Responsibilities:

• To perform general maintenance such as cleaning, moving, inspecting, replacing worn parts, adjusting equipment, performing minor repairs, checking safety systems, installing new fixtures and systems, and addressing minor issues on a routine basis to prevent larger problems
• To interface with facility contractors and vendors as needed for professional services
• To complete tasks as assigned in the ticketing system within a timely manner
• To follow documentation procedures and purchasing procedures as directed
• To identify unsafe or practices and notify your supervisor immediately, in accordance with the written Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
• To meet regularly with the Pastor of Operations for the purposes of workload management, professional development, and spiritual growth
• To complete additional special projects as assigned
• To maintain a clean working area

Professional Qualifications:

• Maintain positive working relationships with other staff and members of the congregation
• Prioritize the values of CrossPoint Community Church and ministry activities on campus
• Must be in good physical condition, good sense of balance, able to lift 60 lbs.
• Must complete and maintain ladder and lift certifications, forklift certification desirable
• Aptitude and willingness to learn new skills related to general areas of responsibility
• Must have valid California Drivers License and good driving record
