Children's Pastor / Director

At Authentic Life Church, we are dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth of our youngest members and fostering a supportive community for children and their families. We are seeking a Children's Pastor / Director who will oversee the training, mentoring, and managing of part-time staff, participate in the leadership board of our Early Learning Center, and provide spiritual guidance to children, their leaders, and families. This role involves overseeing programs that help kids build a relationship with Jesus, managing a large volunteer workforce, planning special events, developing the annual budget, and handling emergencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus, a heart for mentoring and guiding the next generation, and at least three years of experience in children’s ministry, preferably in a church of 500 or more. They should possess excellent communication and leadership skills, a solid understanding of the Bible, and the ability to work well within a team. A related college degree is a plus but not required. Responsibilities also include building relationships with children and their families, managing follow-ups, and selecting or developing curriculum.
