Worship Leader

Position Overview:

The Worship Leader will lead the planning and execution of all worship services and be responsible for the overall production and creative presentation of Sunday mornings. This role involves scheduling, preparing, and organizing worship services and leading the worship team. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Worship Planning: Schedule, plan, and prepare for all worship services, including making weekly slides of worship lyrics.
• Worship Leading: Lead congregation and volunteer worship team in worship duing Sunday morning services (currently one 10am service)
• Volunteer Recruitment & Development: Recruit, train, and develop volunteer worship team members, fostering the growth of the musical talents that God has given some in the body.
• Good Friday/additional services: Help lead and coordinate worship for annual Good Friday service as well as any addtional services if they arise. 
• Arrange for alternative worship leader arrangements in the event you are sick or out of town.

Qualifications:

• A strong, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A devotion to church unity. 
• Proficiency in vocal and instrumental leadership.
• Ability to lead and build strong teams of volunteers.
• A willingness to be flexible. 

Pay will be a weekly stipend based on experience.

Expected hours per week: 3.5-4.5 (2.5 hours on Sunday mornings + song selection/slide preparation during the week)
