Your Role on the Team:

The King’s Park Preschool (KPP) Teacher will minister to, teach, and care for children in alignment with King’s Park International Church RTP/Durham vision, mission, and values. The teacher will assist parents and the KPP by ministering to children; maintaining their hygiene; monitoring them for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns; providing them with age-appropriate instruction; and working with parents to ensure that children are learning and socializing in a God-honoring and positive way. They will also assist with sterilizing toys and play areas, along with other duties to ensure the children are in a safe, engaging, and clean environment.

Schedule Expectations:

This is a part-time role, anticipated to be a minimum of ten hours per week, FLSA {non-exempt}. Work days are weekdays from 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM during the school year.

Meetings: 

  • Daily huddles on the days you are teaching (8:30 AM)
  • Monthly one on one meetings with KPP Director
  • Monthly KPP staff meetings
