Full time or co vocational Outreach Pastor
Developing a second service with the support of our current congregation
Spend time in the community to reach out and find needs that our church could support
Participate in our Visioning Team Meetings
Delivering sermons approximately once per month
Ensuring the spiritual growth of the new congregation
Developing discipleship programs such as bible study, small group discussions,
Developing outreach staff
Visiting local Colleges to develop small groups and influence students to become a part of Christ’s Church
Developing social ministry through social media contacts
Community UMC is a small congregation looking to share the word of God to our changing community. We are an elderly group with a supportive mindset.
Our community is transitioning to younger families to which we would like to connect. We wish to start another worship service in addition to our blended Sunday morning service. The qualified person we hire must be aligned with our spiritual beliefs but does not have to be United Methodist.
