Job Description:

Youth Pastor

Purpose:  The youth pastor is a member of the ministry staff and is selected for service by the Lead Pastor in conjunction with the Board of Elders.  He is called to serve in all administrations and ministerial duties that pertain to the service and spiritual growth of youth at WCF, extending out to Columbia County.  This position reports to the lead pastor.

Scope:  Lead in youth ministries on Sunday morning and midweek.  Manage all aspects of ministry and outreach for junior and senior high students, as well as oversee ministry to young adults.  Provide ministerial presence in the church office during the week in the absence of the lead pastor.  Available to fill the pulpit at the request of the lead pastor. 

Compensation:  Annual salary, ministry expense account, paid vacation and insurance package.

Responsibilities:

**Assist the Lead Pastor in the administration of the ministries to youth and young adults.

**Evangelize, teach, equip and disciple youth into a closer walk with Jesus.

**Recruit and develop a youth ministry staff, assisting them by supplying their needs for the work of ministry.

**Maintain personal spiritual growth to be an example to the body of believers at Warren Community Fellowship, the community of Columbia County and to the world.

**Seek to glorify God and follow His will above all other possible motivations.

**Pursue to improve skills in position through continued education as approved by the Board of Elders.

Warren Community Fellowship is located in a growing rural community, which is within a 30 minute drive to several larger cities.  Our congregation is comprised of a variety of ages and socio-economic backgrounds.  Our youth group is one of the largest in Columbia County, with approximately 60 teenagers who attend regularly.
