Job Title: Lead Pastor
Position Status: Full Time
Position Description:
The role of the Pastor is to Lead and Shepherd the congregation, as well as assist the Elders/Overseers in the administration of the life and ministry of the Church. The Pastor shall have a firm grasp on the purpose, values, and strategy of the Church and shall possess the ability to align and guide church staff and key leadership teams in pursuit of that mission. The Lead Pastor will ensure that the systems, practices, and policies of the church responsibly and effectively support its ministry activities.
The Lead Pastor must display the Godly characteristics of spiritual maturity both in his private and public life. They should be approachable and committed to Biblical solutions to problems that arise in the church. The Pastor should be committed to personal growth, regularly investing in the increase of their knowledge of God and his Word, as well as improving their skills, abilities and gifts in ministry.

Salary and benefits: The Salary Package is developed utilizing the “Church Compensation Guide and Handbook,” which establishes the median values for Salaries based on position, experience, education, location, and Church context. This process provides a framework to establish a fair and data-driven compensation package. The compensation package includes a Parsonage, health, pension, and other benefits.
