Cross Fire Church was started as a church plant of Bluff View Church. Recently the Lead Pastor has developed a health issue that will not allow him to continue in the ministry. We are looking to fill this vacancy.
The Cross Fire Pastor will lead the church with a strong emphasis on the Holy Spirit's presence, focusing on preaching, pastoral care They will be the spiritual leader of the congregation, all while actively engaging with the community to spread the gospel. Administration skills are also important in this role to keep a small vibrant church organized and on track.
Responsibilities:
Casting vision for the church and guiding its strategic direction
Overseeing Ministry leaders to help their ministries thrive within the church
Managing church budget and finances responsibly
Engaging with the local community to share the Gospel and build relationships
Effectively balancing church responsibilities with an additional part time job
In summary, the Lead Pastor position entails sermons to prepare, people to counsel, conflicts to navigate, meetings to lead, and administrative tasks to check off.
Qualifications:
Deep personal commitment to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit
Ability to build relationships with an evangelistic focus
Minister credentials with the Assembly of God, or the ability to pursue. (our district offers monthly classes to achieve this)

About Cross Fire Church:
Cross Fire was started over a year ago as a church plant of Bluff View Church, in Arpin WI. Cross Fire has an average attendance of 40, and is in Spencer, WI a small rural community in need of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The church members are compassionate and fellowship oriented, it is a true church family with many skilled and wonderful people. The church is ready for new growth and their Pastor will have a rewarding position. This is not a Campus Pastor, but a Lead Pastor role.
Salary:
This is currently a bi-vocational position where the Pastor may have another source of income. 20 hours per week, $2500/ month Salary

Bluff View Church is a brand new start up church that has reached its 3year anniversary. We are a rural church with a great footprint that is meeting the spiritual needs of 5 communities where there are no spirit filled churches. Bluff View is a fast paced, evangelistic type church, that loves community events and networking. Our Sunday services are Holy Spirit lead and we truly are an Acts 2 church. In our very short history, we are experiencing amazing growth and weekly testimonies of changed lives thru Jesus Christ.
