Position Description
Production Coordinator
Principal Function:
The principle function of the Production Coordinator is to execute the creative production moments while developing and maintaining the technical direction and volunteer culture of the entire production department.
Full-time, Reports to the Director of Production
Responsibilities:
- Use technical research and innovation to collaborate with the creative team for worship services, seasonal presentations and general church-wide moments for Providence.
- Assist the whole creative team and other ministries to provide audio, video, and lighting support for worship services, seasonal presentations and general church-wide moments for Providence.
- Operate as the production leader responsible for all audio, video, lighting, stage management and livestream execution of whatever moment or service assigned by the supervisor.
- Create and maintain a pipeline to recruit, shepherd and develop volunteers for all audio, video, lighting, stage management and livestream.
- Maintain, oversee, troubleshoot and expand all audio, video, lighting, stage design, stage management and livestream systems in all venues current and future associated with Providence.
- Assist in the planning, execution and deployment of all audio, video, lighting, stage design, stage management and livestream production elements as scheduled to ensure rehearsals and services occur in a timely manner.
- Oversee tech rehearsals for all services and productions assigned.
- Advise other departments on production needs and purchases as assigned.
- Advise other ministry areas in preparing and training volunteers that require production support as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Production for the good of the creative team and Providence.
