Job Summary:
The Production Audio Engineer manages the use of production technology to create compelling environments for Real Life Ministry events & services that are assigned to their campus. In addition, this individual provides training, and direction to Real Life technical service elements and volunteers at their campus.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
FOH operation at live services and church events.
Build healthy working relationships with bands, artists, and other production staff.
Occasional onsite recording of worship teams.
Additional production responsibilities outside of audio, to be determined based on previous experience. Ideally including:o Volunteer Development
o RF coordination
o Digital networking
o Inventory management
Weekly QC for weekend services.
Tech lead for Student Life services & events.
Tech lead for Young Adult services
Attend team planning, All team, and one-on-one development meetings as scheduled.
Assist in maintaining technical equipment, both owned and shared, at their campus.
Assist with training new volunteers.
Assist with stage setups & strikes.
Ensure Clermont Campus runs with operational excellence and cleanliness.
Innovate new and creative ways to leverage technology and innovation within Real Life environments.
Additional AVL-related duties as assigned by the Production Director.
Standard Workdays: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, & Thur. (There will be occasions it is required to work on Fri & Sat.)
Required Skills:
Technical abilities needed to execute high production environment standards.
Proficiency in mixing a high number of inputs and outputs as well as proficiency in operating live services and hitting cues.
Knowledge of Dante.
Must know Allen & Heath consoles & systems.
Knowledge of WAVES plugins.
Knowledge of audio recording software.
Knowledge of ProPresenter.
Basic knowledge of lighting operation..
Ability to operate effectively & troubleshoot in high-pressure environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills, both in technical and non-technical environments.
